I served as a Chief Minister’s Good Governance Associate (CMGGA) in Sonipat district, Haryana. It was an extremely rich experience to witness the government systems and understand the day-to-day challenges they face to execute large-scale programs. I got an opportunity to support the district administration to bring transformation in Haryana across the welfare of the state.
The following blog is a personal journey of the one year where I spent exploring Haryana from the lens of a heritage professional and a curious individual.
I stayed at a place called Motilal Nehru School of Sports (MNSS) in Rai block, Sonipat district. The school had a huge campus preparing schools to be sportspersons for tomorrow and I had the chance to stay there amidst all the greenery. I chose to be there intentionally as it reminded me of Army cantonments which is home to me.
